This cottage was the first home of William and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Todd and their family. Later, from about 1900, the Todds lived in Sussex Street in a house next to the Linton library near the Todd Brothers’ butcher’s shop in Sussex Street (see Walk No. 1).
The Todd family were great gardeners and their produce won many prizes in the late 1800s.
