Cliff Kuhn introduces himself and explains Downtown Atlanta’s role in the New South. Five Points was the heart of Atlanta in 1906 and the site of a race massacre that changed the city forever. Throughout this audio tour from 2006, Kuhn frequently describes the tragedy as a “riot.” It is widely accepted by historians now that the proper title is the 1906 Atlanta Race Massacre.
