The port of Malaga offers several berths for cruise ships. The city has around 580,000 inhabitants, making it the second-largest city in Andalusia. Larger ships usually dock at one of the two terminals along the long eastern pier. From there, shuttle buses usually operate to Plaza de la Marina. Plaza de la Marina is located at the main entrance to the port near the city center.
Smaller ships often dock at the El Palmeral terminal on the north side of the port, close to the city center. You exit the port at the main entrance, and directly opposite is Plaza de la Marina. Our city tour begins at the central fountain there. It lasts about 2 to 3 hours and takes us into the old city center.
We recommend briefly stopping at each station during the explanations. At the end of the explanations, there is usually a short note about the next steps. In the app, the route to the next station is also provided as text. Additionally, the app’s map view displays your current location, aiding in better orientation.
