Historical stroll through Langenhorn - discovering the story behind the Black Forest houses

Come along for a walk through the district of Hamburg-Langenhorn and discover the houses built in Black Forest style. Why can we find houses like this this far up north, what is the story behind it? I will take you through my neigbourhood and explain the reasons to this reminder of the past. This is tour one of my series “historical stroll through Langenhorn”. I was inspired by a club called “Geschichts- und Zukunfstwerkstatt Langenhorn e.V.” - they keep history alive and offer guided tours in person as well as informative evening lectures about this part of town: Langenhorn.
