Artists' Memories of Mount Pleasant

Michelle La Flamme began this sound walk in August 2021 and invites other artists, activists and creatives to share their memories too. Did hearing Michelle bring back your memories or make you dream about future change? Keep those thoughts alive by sharing and building community.

Lorna Boschman and Sebnem Ozpeta are running FREE geolocation audio workshops this fall through the fabulous grunt gallery in Vancouver.

This prototype sound walk was funded by the City of Vancouver through the grunt gallery.

Our walk takes place on the unceded, traditional territories of the Coast Salish peoples sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) nations.
