Storywalk Gleisdreieck by Grün Berlin, Project Management and Concept: Eva Patzschke & Paul Brody
The Park am Gleisdreieck is part of an over eight-kilometer-long green corridor stretching north to south through the city: from Spreebogenpark in the government district to Schöneberger Südgelände. This network links historically and politically significant urban locations, creating green and car-free connections. Ecological approaches unite newly developed and preserved urban nature areas, seamlessly transitioning into modern and historical city neighborhoods at the park’s boundaries.
In the heart of the city, the Park am Gleisdreieck offers numerous opportunities for recreation and leisure. The Storywalk takes you on a journey through the site’s dynamic history.
We invite you to join us for a walk through this history full of transformations: from a former railway site to untamed nature and the creation of today’s park.
At 27 audio stations, you can listen to experts sharing their stories from various perspectives, recounting the eventful decades – for both people and nature – on the path to the present-day Park am Gleisdreieck.
